Terms and Conditions

It is necessary in the interests of or clients and customers that we abide by a set of terms and conditions. The following terms and conditions are to insure that you are fully aware of the nature of the events Norfolk Ghost Hunters organize and host. Due to insurance purposes: The minimum age for participants on all of our ghost hunt events is 18 years or older.

  1. If anyone arrives who appears to be or we suspect to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs they will be asked to leave the event immediately, and no refund will be given.
  2. Due to the law no smoking is allowed indoors at any event. There may well be designated smoking areas at some of our events but please be advised these are likely to be outdoors.
  3. Norfolk Ghost Hunters do not provide accommodation or any sleeping facilities at an event. Some of the locations do offer such facilities, however these are to be arranged by yourselves as a separate entity and will have nothing to do with Norfolk Ghost Hunters. Norfolk Ghost Hunters do not accept any liability under any circumstances for loss or transactions that have been made between yourselves and a hosting venue whether booked during an event or not.
  4. Norfolk Ghost Hunters will not at any time, location or event, be liable or responsible for any loss or damage to equipment belonging to the participants, during and after the event, even if caused by, for example, suspected paranormal activity.
  5. All personal belongings, clothing, equipment, vehicles and or effects belonging to you or members of your party are your own responsibility and will always remain so. Norfolk Ghost Hunters are not and cannot be held responsible for the safe custody of attendee’s property, for its loss, damage or theft.
  6. Norfolk Ghost Hunters reminds all customers and guests that all paranormal investigations by their nature can be quite reserved, but fun too! Therefore it is requested that if you are thinking of booking an event with us as a group that would like to be rowdy then we ask that you carefully consider whether a ghost hunt event is really suitable for yourselves? Disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated out of fairness to all of our Customers and clients. Throughout the event customers and guests will be expected to act at all times in manner and that will not cause harm or injury to anyone else or effect of the property or the integrity of Norfolk Ghost Hunters etc.
  7. Any event due to take place wholly or partially in the open air could be affected by adverse weather conditions. On these occasions we will try as much as is practicable to relocate to an area that is least affected by the weather conditions. However we ask customers and guests that they wear sensible clothing that is appropriate for the conditions of the investigation. In any case even if the weather conditions are poor it is likely that the event will continue regardless.
  8. Rarely, are ghost hunt events cancelled or postponed by Norfolk Ghost Hunters due to weather conditions or situations out of our control, but if the event has to be cancelled, moved or re-scheduled Norfolk Ghost Hunters will issue a credit note in respect of your payment made, to be used on another event as part payment or full payment depending on the individual event ticket price. NO REFUNDS will be made in these circumstances.
  9. Norfolk Ghost Hunters do not provide accommodation or any sleeping facilities at an event.   10. Norfolk Ghost Hunters only use professional paranormal investigators, specialists and mediums, any statements made by our paranormal investigators, specialists and or mediums are the sole opinion of the individual and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Norfolk Ghost Hunters.
  11. Norfolk Ghost Hunters do not recommend that Customers guests take part in any events if they suffer from mental or physical ill health any heart condition or any other serious illness or disability that may hinder movement or stability. If you suffer from any serious medical condition you should report this at the time of booking. It is the individuals responsibility in these circumstances too safeguard their own well-being. Norfolk Ghost Hunters will not and cannot be held responsible for the consequences of any trauma experienced before, during or after any of our events.
  12. Norfolk Ghost Hunters encourage all guests to bring any filming, recording or photographic equipment for personal use. Norfolk Ghost Hunters may also use certain recording equipment, whether in digital videos or audio recordings these maybe used on our website. You may inadvertently appear in imagery that appears on the Norfolk Ghost Hunter website and or publicity materials. By attending the event you agree to these terms.
  13. Norfolk Ghost Hunters currently operate a “Good faith” system for payment where a deposit is required on payment as a minimum (This will be agreed through our events secretary). Usually ALL event bookings made with Norfolk Ghost Hunters should be paid in full at least 4 weeks before the event date. Any booking not paid in full within 7 days of an event may be offered to other customers.
  14. Please note that Norfolk Ghost Hunters accounts and information regarding any paranormal activity occurring at the locations are not fabricated in any way. Although Norfolk Ghost Hunters have on occasion witnessed and recorded alleged paranormal activity in these locations we cannot guarantee that any paranormal activity will take place on the night of the event.
  15. Norfolk Ghost Hunters Cancellation/Refund policy. Once tickets/places are purchased deposits cannot be refunded, Refunds will only be made in extenuating circumstances. Refunds cannot be made for tickets/places after the event date has taken place. If you are purchasing tickets for a third party that fail to attend the event for whatever reason then a refund cannot be made.
  16. Given that any Norfolk Ghost Hunters event is cancelled by us due to circumstances beyond our control then we will endeavour to send immediate notice informing all relevant parties/guests booked onto the event, this will be via email or text message.
  17. Once you have made your booking for an event with Norfolk Ghost Hunters your booking cannot be sold or transferred under any circumstances. When attending a Norfolk Ghost Hunters Event you may be asked to provide your confirmation/receipt as proof of your booking. It is up to the customer to pass on ALL correct contact details of the person that is attending the event so we are best able to contact you in the event of an emergency.
  18. Payments to Norfolk Ghost Hunters are accepted by using any of the following methods: PayPal. All payments must be made in full before the event. Once full payment has been received, we will send you confirmation of your booking. Event places will only be secured once full booking deposit or full payment has been received and processed by Norfolk Ghost Hunters.
  19. Norfolk Ghost Hunters tries to ensure all the information posted/advertised or detailed on the site is accurate and up to date at all times. Please feel free to contact us immediately if you find or feel any information on the site is incorrect. However, the onus is on the individual to independently check any information posted/advertised or detailed on the Norfolk Ghost Hunters website and Facebook page before relying on it. All information on any media is correct at the time of printing but may be subject to change. Norfolk Ghost Hunters reserve the rights to make changes at any time.
  20. By agreeing to the terms and conditions detailed and set out by Norfolk Ghost Hunters you further indemnify the organizers/promoters and all team members associated to and working with or for Norfolk Ghost Hunters from and against all legal liability, in respect of any costs, claims, damages, demands, penalties, actions, proceedings, suits, losses or expenses in respect of or arising out of the injury to or the death of any person, or damage to any property arising from my participation in the chosen Norfolk Ghost Hunters paranormal event, course/workshop and or demonstration.
  21. All event bookings made through Norfolk Ghost Hunters constitutes your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions in full. Norfolk Ghost Hunters may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
  22. Any Customers or guests that find themselves on any Norfolk Ghost Hunter’s media that they do not wish to be on can get in touch with us through email and we will remove you.

Norfolk Ghost Hunters strive to deliver professionally run events. It is important that customers understand that as we are Investigating the paranormal field and witnessing phenomena is rare. Norfolk Ghost Hunters cannot guarantee that paranormal activity will take place and therefore we cannot make any guarantees about the validity and truth behind your personal experiences. Having said this customers have had belief changing experiences because of what they have witnessed on paranormal events. Norfolk Ghost Hunters CAN guarantee is that all of our events are organized and are conducted under controlled conditions.
